At Shree Sailaxmi Foundation, we believe these treasures are not just memories of the past, but the living threads that connect generations.
Founded in 2013 by Sairam Dave, the Foundation was created to make sure Gujarat’s cultural heartbeat stays strong, not just in villages but in schools, auditoriums, and hearts across the world.
Today, through festivals, educator training, community events, and children’s programmes, our work has reached:
30,000+ educators trained to bring storytelling and cultural learning into classrooms.
7 lakh+ people engaged through events and festivals.
Hundreds of schools enriched with cultural, value-based education.
From lullabies to folk poetry, every initiative brings Gujarat’s cultural art forms back into daily life.
Events and programmes reintroduce heritage in ways that feel relevant, joyful, and meaningful for the new generation.
That every child grows up proud of their culture.
That teachers have creative tools that make learning joyful.
That folk traditions are celebrated as a vibrant part of modern life.

Our Impact Areas
I was pleased to see how Sailaxmi Foundation creates meaningful platforms where culture, spirituality, and language come together. Such events help society reconnect with Sanatan values and inspire the younger generation to stay rooted in our traditions.
What impressed me about Sailaxmi Foundation’s event was how beautifully it celebrated Gujarati folk music and literature. Bringing artists, audiences, and culture together like this keeps our traditional music alive and relevant for the next generation.
Chhandotsav brought back memories I thought were long lost. Hearing rare chhands performed by such talented artists made me reconnect with my language in a way I haven’t felt in years. It was pure Gujarati pride
Sailaxmi Foundation’s event truly reflected the spirit of Gujarati loksahitya and dayro tradition. It was wonderful to see audiences enjoying stories, humor, and folk culture together, reminding us how powerful our heritage is when shared on such platforms.
Every event by the Shree Sailaxmi Foundation feels thoughtful, meaningful, and full of heart. Whether it’s folk music, education, or cultural storytelling, they always manage to connect people emotionally. You leave feeling inspired and proud of your roots
